The invention discloses a steel pipe scaffold fastener for a building. The steel pipe scaffold fastener comprises a base, a buckle cover and a fixing mechanism, wherein the fixing mechanism is arranged on the base, and placement grooves are formed in the top end and the bottom end of the base and are used for allowing steel pipes to be placed; and a hinge block is fixedly connected to the base, anopening is formed in the end, far away from the hinge block, of the buckle cover, one end of the buckle cover is hinged to the hinge block, the other end of the buckle cover is fixed to the base through the fixing mechanism, and the hinge block and the fixing mechanism are arranged on the two sides of the placement grooves correspondingly. The round section and the straight line section of the opening of the buckle cover have different widths, and the buckle cover can be limited and fixed through an outer rod, so that the connection quality problem caused by different bolt pre-tightening forces of a traditional fastener is avoided; and in order to further enhance the fixing effect of the buckle cover, a fixing block is buckled on the buckle cover, a pressing block on the outer rod is usedfor pressing the fixing block, the fixing effect of the fixing block is ensured, the fixing block and the outer rod are used for carrying out multiple fixing on the buckle cover, and therefore the connecting quality of a steel pipe is ensured.
