The invention discloses an intelligent key storage cabinet body and a working method thereof. The intelligent key storage cabinet body comprises a door opening component, a door closing component, a key storage component, a frame, a touch screen, a numeric keyboard and a fingerprint identifier. The door opening part is used for opening the small key box door of the key storage part; the door closing part is used for closing the small key box door; the key storage part is formed by arraying key boxes one by one; the frame is used for storing keys and is formed by welding sectional materials, afront panel, a rear panel, a left panel, a right panel, an upper panel and a lower panel are arranged on the front portion, the rear portion, the left portion, the right portion, the upper panel and the lower panel of the frame, a touch screen, a numeric keyboard and a fingerprint recognizer are installed on the front panel, and the door opening component, the door closing component and the key storage component are installed in the frame. The intelligent key storage cabinet body can be provided with a plurality of key boxes, unified storage and management of keys can be achieved conveniently,the structure is compact, and the situation that equipment performance is affected due to messy cable layout and too many connectors is avoided.
