The invention discloses a water-saving garbage disposer. The water-saving garbage disposer comprises an outer cover used for supporting an overall structure and a connecting mechanism arranged at theupper end of the outer cover and used for being fixedly connected with a water pool, a discharging pipe used for discharging crushed residues is arranged on one side of the outer cover, the water-saving garbage disposer further comprises a material pressing mechanism arranged above the outer cover and used for pushing residues into the outer cover and a water circulation mechanism arranged on theinner side of the outer cover, a smashing mechanism used for smashing the residues is arranged on the inner side of the outer cover, and the smashing mechanism is connected with the outer cover. According to the water-saving garbage disposer, through arrangement of the material pressing mechanism, the food residues can conveniently enter the inner side of the outer cover to be smashed, part of water liquid in the smashing process enters the smashing mechanism again through the water circulation mechanism to participate in residue lubrication along with the smashing process, water is graduallyclosed through a faucet, and the use amount of water is reduced.
