The invention provides a temporary protection device for a construction reinforcement mechanical connection thread. The temporary protection device comprises a hard sleeve and a flexible sealing sleeve, the upper end of the hard sleeve is sealed, the lower end of the hard sleeve is connected with the upper end of the flexible sealing sleeve, and the lower end of the flexible sealing sleeve is provided with a sealing fastener; and a partition plate is arranged on the upper part of an inner cavity of the hard sleeve, a through hole is formed in the center of the partition plate, a supporting film is arranged in the through hole, and a drying agent powder layer is arranged on the upper surface of the partition plate. The invention further provides a temporary protection method for the construction reinforcement mechanical connection thread. The temporary protection device is simple in structure and convenient to use, during using, the junction of the flexible sealing sleeve and a reinforcement thread section is filled with a drying agent, airtightness between the flexible sealing sleeve and the reinforcement thread section can be ensured, external water is prevented from entering, thedrying agent has a water absorbing effect, even if the situation of untight sealing occurs, the water can be absorbed by the drying agent, and the situation that the water enters the hard sleeve andconsequently rusts the reinforcement thread section is avoided, and the good protection effect is achieved.
