The vehicle control method comprises the steps of determining a target supporting positionof the vehicle; detecting working condition parameters of the ground surface at the target supporting position, and generating supporting prompt information according to the target supporting position and the working condition parameters; and outputting the supporting prompt information. According to the vehicle control method provided by the scheme, the working condition parameters of the groundsurface at the target supporting position can be detected through the target supporting position in the running process of the vehicle, whether the current ground surface is suitable for parking andunfolding the supporting legs or not is determined according to the supporting prompt information, the situation that the supporting legs cannot stably support the vehicle due to the uneven ground isavoided, the supporting stability of the supporting legs is improved, then the stability of the whole vehicle is improved, repeated control over folding and unfolding of the supporting legs is avoided, the loss of the supporting legs is reduced, and the operation difficulty is lowered.
