The invention discloses an anti-skinning castable for a carbide slag cement kiln smoke chamber, and a preparation method thereof. The raw materials of the anti-skinning castable comprise, by weight, 0-18 parts of bauxite of which the particle size is greater than 5 mm and less than or equal to 8 mm, 35-55 parts of bauxite of which the particle size is greater than or equal to 1 mm and less than orequal to 5 mm, 0-15 parts of bauxite of which the particle size is greater than or equal to 0.088 mm and less than 1 mm, 6-15 parts of silicon carbide with the particle size being 0.088-1 mm, 5-20 parts of corundum with the particle size being smaller than 0.088 mm, 3-8 parts of silicon carbide micro-powder, 0-5 parts of bauxite micro-powder, 4-9 parts of calcium aluminate cement, 3-6 parts of silica fume, 0-3 parts of heat-resistant steel fibers, 0-0.2 part of organic fibers, 0.1-0.3 part of a deflocculating agent and 4-5 parts of water. A refractory material formed by sintering the castableprovided by the invention has excellent skinning resistance and slag resistance, and is an ideal refractory material for carbide slag cement kiln smoke chambers.
