The invention discloses a glass curtain wall supporting system which comprises multiple steel stand columns arranged horizontally at intervals. The steel stand columns extend along the vertical direction; the top parts and the bottom parts of the steel stand columns are hinged with a main body structure; multiple steel pipes arranged vertically at intervals penetrate through the steel stand columns and extend along the horizontal direction; and two ends of the steel pipes are hinged with the main body structure. The glass curtain wall supporting system provided by the invention has the beneficial effects that the steel stand columns have large spans and relatively small cross sections; aluminum stand columns of a frame curtain wall are combined, horizontal circular steel pipes are adoptedinstead of aluminum alloy cross beams, and steel cross beams are cancelled, so that the influence on the transparency of glass is reduced maximally; and the system is concise in stress, the conformityof a calculation model and practical engineering is better, and the system can be applied to important, eye-catching and high-requirement positions of buildings such as an atrium vertical face and astorefront signboard vertical face.
