The invention discloses a large-specification thin plate paving structure and a construction method thereof, and relates to the technical field of building decoration. The large-specification thin plate paving structure comprises a binder layer and a facing layer which are sequentially arranged on a building base layer, an interface agent layer is formed on the building base layer through interface agent treatment, and the binder layer is located on the interface agent layer and bonded with the bottom surface of the facing layer; and a leveling mortar layer is further laid on the building baselayer, a sealing hardening layer is formed on the leveling mortar layer through treatment of the sealing hardening agent, and the sealing hardening layer is coated with the binder layer. The construction method further comprises the following steps that S1, the building base layer is treated; S2, paved foundation leveling is carried out; S3, sealing and hardening treatment is carried out; S4, binder selection is carried out; and S5, veneer paving and pasting are carried out. Binder indexes are provided through the type and the veneer specification of the building base layer; by controlling abinder layer material, the thickness, the batch scraping mode and the paving method, the paving and pasting cost is effectively controlled and the paving and pasting quality is greatly improved whilethe construction is convenient and fast and the efficiency is high.
