The invention discloses a construction hanging basket for a rail type bridge. The construction hanging basket comprises a bridge track, a lifting frame assembly, walking devices, a hanging basket lifter and a hanging basket, wherein the bridge track is arranged in the length direction of a bridge and arranged on two sides of the bridge; the lifting frame assembly comprises a hoisting base and a hanging basket extension arm; the hoisting base is placed on rails on the two sides of the bridge through the walking devices; the hanging basket extension arm is connected to the hoisting base; and thehanging basket lifter is arranged between the joint of the hoisting base and the hanging basket extension arm and the end part of the hanging basket extension arm.
