The invention relates to a river in-situ ecological restoration system and a restoration method. The river in-situ ecological restoration system comprises bank protection walls arranged on two sides of a river channel, a desilting pump, and a desilting part arranged at the river bottom. The lower ends of the bank protection walls are lower than the river bottom, the surface of the river bottom isset as a smooth surface, a containing cavity is formed in each bank protection wall, desilting openings communicating with the containing cavities are formed in the portions, which are connected withthe surface of the river bottom, of the bank protection walls, and the desilting openings extend in the length direction of the river channel. The surface of the river bottom is provided with guide rails connected with the bank protection walls on the two sides, the desilting part is slidably connected with the guide rails, the guide rails are arranged on the two sides of the dredging openings inthe length direction, the desilting part is in a plate shape, and the lower end of the desilting part makes contact with the surface of the river bottom. The desilting part is connected with a power source for driving the desilting part to move between the bank protection walls on the two sides, the desilting pump extends into the containing cavity, and the river in-situ ecological restoration system has the effect that river ecology can be restored more conveniently.
