The invention relates to the field of building construction instruments, and particularly discloses a lifting platform for building construction. The lifting platform comprises a supporting base, wherein a fixed supporting plate is arranged on the upper surface of the supporting base; a movable supporting plate is arranged on one side of the fixed supporting plate and positioned above the supporting base; a surrounding plate is arranged on the upper surface of the lifting platform; a rotating door is arranged on one side of the surrounding plate; and a sliding groove is formed in the inner side surface of the supporting base. According to the lifting platform, a device main body drives the whole lifting platform to ascend and descend through an air cylinder, so that compared with a traditional scaffold, the time is saved; meanwhile, a tool bag or a building construction material can be hung above the surrounding plate, so that the human fatigue caused by frequent bending of a user is reduced; and a shear type lifting rod is pushed by the air cylinder to enable the lifting platform to ascend and descend, so that the time for building the traditional scaffold can be shortened, the construction time is greatly saved, and the construction burden is reduced.
