The invention discloses a garbage cleaning device for hydraulic engineering. The garbage cleaning device comprises a road surface, a riverway is arranged on the left side of the road surface, a cleaning box is placed on the right side of the top of the road surface, a moving assembly is fixedly connected to the top of an inner cavity of the cleaning box, a connecting plate is fixedly connected tothe bottom of the moving assembly, a drainage assembly is fixedly connected to the bottom of the connecting plate, and a compaction assembly is fixedly connected to the bottom of the inner cavity of the cleaning box. By arranging a first rotary motor, the first rotary motor drives a main belt pulley to rotate, the main belt pulley drives a belt pulley to rotate through a belt, a driven belt pulleydrives a driving roller to rotate, and the driving roller drives a driven roller and an auxiliary roller to rotate through a conveying belt; and meanwhile, the conveying belt drives a baffle to move,so that garbage is conveyed from an inner cavity of the riverway to the upper part of a feeding pipe, through the structure, the garbage cleaning device for the hydraulic engineering has the advantage of conveying the garbage, and the problem that the garbage cannot be conveyed through an original mode is solved.
