The invention discloses a guardrail stand column with a punching hook and a production process thereof. The guardrail stand column comprises a stand column main body, a buried head, the punching hook,a hanging groove, a through hole, a clamping through hole, J-shaped hooks, an external thread, a locking bolt, a guardrail mesh and a top cover, wherein the buried head is fixedly welded to the outerwall of the top end of the stand column main body, the punching hook is arranged on the outer wall of the top end of one side of the stand column body in a bent mode, and the hanging groove is formedin the outer wall of the position between the punching hook and the stand column body. According to the guardrail, the punching hook is arranged on the outer wall of the top end of one side of the guardrail stand column, the guardrail mesh is hung through the punching hook when the guardrail is installed, and then other parts of the mesh are fixed through the J-shaped hooks, so that one person can complete the installation operation of the mesh, the process is time-saving and labor-saving, and convenience is brought to workers; and in the production process of the guardrail stand column, a hollow steel pipe and buried head welding mode is selected for machining, and materials are greatly saved under the condition that the strength of the stand column is guaranteed.
