The invention discloses zirconia-based metal decorative porcelain and a production process thereof. The zirconia-based metal decorative porcelain is prepared from zirconia-based ceramic powder and iron metal powder. The zirconia-based ceramic powder comprises a blank and glaze. The blank comprises the following components in parts by weight: 10-20 parts of titanium dioxide, 20-40 parts of feldspar, 10-30 parts of sandstone, 10-15 parts of alkali and 10-25 parts of porcelain powder. The glaze comprises the following components in parts by weight: 10-20 parts of quartz, 10-15 parts of lime and 5-10 parts of clay. Zirconium oxide is added into the raw materials, so that the porcelain is improved in wear resistance and impact resistance during use, and therefore, the service life of the porcelain can be prolonged. The operation of the production process is simple; the application range of the porcelain can be well provided; and the performance of the porcelain can be improved, so that theservice life of the porcelain can be prolonged, and the market competitiveness of the porcelain can be expanded.
