The invention discloses a manhole cover for communication. The manhole cover for communication comprises a cover plate, a manhole cover support, a left pry bar and a right pry bar. The cover plate isarranged on the manhole cover support in a covering manner. A hinge point hole of the left pry bar is hinged to the manhole cover support. An edge end of the left pry bar can jack the cover plate up.A center end of the left pry bar is hinged to one end of a connecting plate. A hinge joint hole of the right pry bar is hinged to the manhole cover support. An edge end of the right pry bar can jack the cover plate up. A center end of the right pry bar is hinged to the other end of the connecting plate. A through hole is formed in the center of the top end of the cover plate. A mechanical lockingmechanism and a safety monitoring system are arranged in a cavity of the cover plate. The cover plate can be fixed to the manhole cover support by the mechanical locking mechanism. A manhole cover monitoring terminal of the safety monitoring system is installed on the cover plate. The manhole cover monitoring terminal can monitor the opening state of the cover plate. According to the manhole coverfor communication, the cover plate can have the functions of being easy to remove and preventing thievery at the same time, the cover plate can be removed quickly and conveniently with both time andeffort saved; and because the manhole cover has two thievery prevention modes, the cover plate is upgraded in the thievery prevention function, and is safer to use.
