A multifunctional weeding ship for removing tall and big waterweed islands comprises a ship body, a cutting mechanism, mowing devices, a collecting and fishing device and a collecting cabin body. Thecutting mechanism is arranged at a front end of the ship body and comprises a set of vertically-rotated rotating blades, and a head-on waterweed island is vertically cut and separated from a bow to two sides of the ship body. And the at least two groups of mowing devices are arranged outside two sides of the ship body, comprise a group of rotary cutters which rotate horizontally and are used for transversely cutting off the waterweeds on the waterweed islands on the two sides of the boat body. The collecting and fishing device is arranged on a back side of each mowing device, the other end ofthe collecting and fishing device is connected with the collecting cabin, and the cut waterweed island is collected and caught into the collecting cabin. Cutters in the two cutting directions are matched with each other in a space so that the waterweeds in the waterweed island can be effectively cut off firstly and then broken, connection of the waterweeds in a staggered manner is broken, and thenthe waterweeds are effectively cleaned. The ship can be widely applied to removing clustered tall and big waterweed islands.
