Castable for tapping channel of steelmaking electric furnace and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to the technical field of tapping channel castables of steelmaking electric furnaces. The invention further discloses a castable for a tapping channel of a steelmaking electric furnace and a preparation method of the castable. The castable is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 60 to 72 parts of special-grade alumina clinker particles, 5 to 20 partsof andalusite powder, 5 to 10 parts of silicon carbide powder, 3 to 10 parts of alpha-alumina powder, 5 to 10 parts of graphite micro powder, 4 to 8 parts of silica powder, 4 to 10 parts of aluminatecement, 2 to 10 parts of an antioxidant and 0.1 to 0.5 part of a dispersing agent. The invention discloses the castable for the tapping channel of the steelmaking electric furnace and the preparationmethod thereof. The special-grade high-alumina bauxite clinker as a main raw material has the characteristics of compact structure, good high-temperature volume stability and high refractoriness, great convenience is provided for manufacturing the castable of the tapping channel, the content of silicon in silicon carbide is set to be greater than 90% by adding a proper amount of silicon carbide and carbonaceous materials, and the cutting hardness is further increased due to good thermal conductivity and strong cutting capacity of the silicon carbide.
