The invention relates to a switch rail which is an all-fiber structure and comprises a tip part (1) and a main body part (2). The tip part (1) and the main body part are connected into a whole body. The manufacturing method of the switch rail comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a blank: preparing a single-alloy or multi-alloy electroslag steel ingot; (2) carrying out blank pressing: pressing the electroslag steel ingot into a shaped blank, wherein a pressing temperature is 850-1250 DEG C; (3) carrying out forging forming: forging and forming the shaped blank through a roller, whereina forging temperature ranges from 850 DEG C to 1250 DEG C; and (4) straightening and shaping, wherein the multi-alloy electroslag steel ingot includes at least two alloy elements. Compared with the prior art, the switch rail has advantages that energy is saved, a material utilization rate is high, fiber structures are prevented from being damaged, a size is accurate, surface smoothness is good, mechanical performance of the switch rail is greatly improved, and an anti-fatigue life is prolonged.
