The invention discloses an ultrahigh detection interception mechanism for bridges and tunnels, which comprises a foundation, a plurality of vertical plates are symmetrically arranged on the foundation, a chute is formed in each vertical plate, a polished rod is horizontally arranged in each chute, a sliding rod is connected to the plurality of polished rods in a sliding manner, and an interceptionmechanism is also arranged on the foundation. The sliding rod and the intercepting mechanism are arranged, when an ultrahigh vehicle passes through the device, the sliding rod is driven to move, andthen the intercepting mechanism is triggered to lift the intercepting rod to warn and intercept the vehicle, so that the ultrahigh vehicle can be prevented from being scraped and collided with a tunnel or a bridge, the driving safety of the driver is improved, the ultrahigh detection interception mechanism is high in automation degree, can be reset quickly after detection is finished, can continueto monitor subsequent vehicles, is high in practicability, and has almost no influence on the vehicles which are not superelevated when the vehicles pass through the device, so that normal operationof traffic can be guaranteed, and the ultrahigh detection interception mechanism is convenient to use.
