The invention discloses a river garbage intercepting device. The river garbage intercepting device comprises a base body; the base body is of a concave structure, and a conveying belt is arranged at anotch of the base body; auxiliary platforms are arranged on the two sides of the concave structure of the base body; a rotating table is arranged on each auxiliary platform; a rotating motor is arranged on each rotating table; a rotating shaft is arranged below each rotating motor; each rotating shaft penetrates through the corresponding auxiliary platform, and an upper driving turntable and a lower driving turntable are arranged at the lower end of each rotating shaft; linkage shafts are hinged to the two side edges of the concave structure of the base body; a telescopic device is arranged on each linkage shaft; a driven shaft is hinged to the outer end of each telescopic device; an upper driven turntable and a lower driven turntable are arranged on each driven shaft; chain belts are arranged between the upper driving rotating disc and the upper driven rotating disc and between the lower driving rotating disc and the lower driven rotating disc; and a plurality of conveying plates arearranged on each chain belt. Compared with the prior art, the river garbage intercepting device has the beneficial effects that the garbage cleaning effect is good, the problem of floating garbage onthe river surface can be effectively solved, and meanwhile the device is high in flexibility and can be adjusted in real time according to terrain conditions.
