The invention discloses a simple supporting frame for a steel structure cantilever plate edge and a mounting method thereof. The simple supporting frame comprises a supporting device, a bearing deviceand a connecting pull rod, wherein one end of the supporting device is tightly abutted against an upper wing plate of a steel beam, and the other end of the supporting device is tightly abutted against a lower wing plate of the steel beam; the bearing device comprises a horizontal supporting plate, one end of the horizontal supporting plate is connected with the supporting device, the other end of the horizontal supporting plate extends towards one side far away from the steel beam, and the upper surface of the horizontal supporting plate is flush with the upper surface of the upper wing plate of the steel beam; and one end of the connecting pull rod is hinged to the lower end of the supporting device, and the other end of the connecting pull rod is hinged to one end, far away from the supporting device, of the horizontal supporting plate. The simple supporting frame can be attached to the steel beam to conveniently and safely support a floor plate and erect an edge sealing plate, sothat the difficulty of erecting a floor bearing plate and the edge sealing plate is reduced.
