The invention discloses a tower type stereo garage. The tower type stereo garage comprises a ground garage and at least one layer of overground garage, wherein the overground garage is arranged at theupper part of the ground garage; the ground garage and the overground garage correspondingly comprise a plurality of ground parking spaces and overground parking spaces which are arranged side by side; a passage is arranged on the side surface of each ground parking space; a lifting mechanism which can walk along the passage is arranged on each passage; the lifting mechanism is used for realizingthe transportation of vehicles between the passage and the overground parking space; each overground parking space comprises an overground parking space body and a vehicle supporting assembly arranged on the overground parking space body; the vehicles are arranged on the vehicle supporting assembly and are transported between the overground parking space body and the passage along with the lifting mechanism; a vehicle supporting assembly temporary storage warehouse is arranged at one end of the passage; and the front position of the vehicle supporting assembly temporary storage warehouse is avehicle storing and taking position. The tower type stereo garage disclosed by the invention is simple in structure, and the vehicles can be conveniently and quickly moved to the overground parking spaces from the vehicle storing position.
