The invention discloses a novel waterproof coating. The novel waterproof coating is prepared from, by weight, 30 to 40 parts of quartz sand, 8 to 15 parts of octylphenol polyoxyethylene ether, 8 to 15parts of mica powder, 10 to 20 parts of tributyl phosphate, 5 to 10 parts of xylene, 10 to 15 parts of triethanolamine and 3 to 7 parts of diethylene glycol butyl ether. The waterproof coating has the advantages of favorable waterproof effect, favorable heat-insulating effect, no toxicity, no odor and no pollution to the environment.
