The invention discloses an anti-overrotation device for a swivel bridge. The device comprises a round-end-shaped solid pier, wherein a swivel bridge rotating device is arranged on a surface of the round-end-shaped solid pier, a controller is arranged on an upper surface of the round-end-shaped solid pier, i-shaped steel sliding anti-overrotation devices are arranged on upper surfaces of the round-end-shaped solid piers, and an iron sheet filling adjusting device is arranged on one side of the I-shaped steel sliding anti-overrotation device. The I-shaped steel sliding anti-overrotation device is advantaged in that two ends of I-shaped steel are moved to the position between the fixing blocks through rotation of the motor, by means of the fixing effect of the fixing blocks, the supporting legs can be effectively intercepted, a purpose of overrotation prevention is achieved, the I-shaped steel can be moved indirectly through contraction of the hydraulic cylinders, rigid impact force of the swivel bridge on the I-shaped steel can be effectively buffered, and therefore the situation that equipment is damaged is avoided.
