The invention discloses a nine-grid pattern building block unit, a retaining wall and a protection slope, and aims at solving the problems that in the prior art, only one building block can be produced at a time, the coverage area or shielding height of each building block is limited, so that the production efficiency is low; and existing building blocks used for a retaining wall and a protectionslope are all directly laid on the surface of a river bank or a soil slope, and the building blocks are prone to being lifted up or falling off if being washed by rainwater for a long time, so that the protection effect is weakened, and even dangerous accidents are caused. According to the nine-grid pattern building block unit, a central building block, side building blocks and corner building blocks are spliced with one another in a nine-grid pattern and form a regular shape; and therefore, a corresponding mold can be directly manufactured for the whole building block unit in the nine-grid pattern during production, and a plurality of small building blocks can be pressed at one time during pressing, so that the production efficiency is improved.
