The invention provides a fuel-electric power control method and device, an excavator and a readable storage medium. The fuel-electric power control method is applied to the excavator provided with anelectric motor and a fuel engine, and comprises the steps that real-time load power of the excavator is obtained; when it is determined that the real-time load power is lower than first preset power,the electric motor is controlled to supply energy to the excavator; when it is determined that the real-time load power is larger than or equal to the first preset power and smaller than or equal to second preset power, the fuel engine is controlled to supply energy to the excavator; and when it is determined that the real-time load power is larger than the second preset power, the electric motorand the fuel engine are controlled to supply energy to the excavator simultaneously. According to the fuel-electric power control method and device, the excavator and the readable storage medium, theelectric motor is used for supplying energy when the excavator is in low load, the fuel engine is used for supplying energy when the excavator is in normal load, and the electric motor and the fuel engine are used for supplying energy simultaneously when the excavator is in high load so that the working efficiency of the fuel engine can be improved, and the energy waste of the fuel engine in low load and the emission of the excavator are reduced.
