The invention relates to the field of vending machine equipment, in particular to a bin gate lock used for a vending machine. The bin gate lock comprises a plastic bottom shell and a plastic surface cover, wherein the left side inside the plastic bottom shell is provided with a slide terminal and a fixed plate; the slide terminal is connected to the fixed plate through a pressure spring; the upperend of the left side inside the plastic bottom shell is provided with a stainless steel guide sleeve; a closing contraction nickel-titanium wire is mounted on the stainless steel guide sleeve in a rolling mode; one end of the closing contraction nickel-titanium wire is connected to the slide terminal; the right side inside the plastic bottom shell is provided with a rotary terminal; and the rotary terminal is equipped inside the plastic bottom shell through a torsion spring. The bin gate lock used for the vending machine has the advantages that: firstly, the structure design is simple, integration is easily achieved in aspect of product design, and manufacturing cost is lower; and secondly, bin gate lock drive voltage is only 3.3V, an unlocking function can be accomplished by three dry batteries, power consumption is lower than that of an electromagnetic lock (drive voltage being 12V), an extra power supply socket does not need to additionally arrange, and product use is more convenient.
