The invention discloses a socket and spigot type corbel supporting device and a supporting method thereof. The supporting device comprises four upper embedded parts (11) of which the outer ends are connected with four upper anchoring parts (31) through upper connectors (111) respectively, four lower embedded part (12) of which the outer ends are connected with an embedded iron box (121) through lower connectors (122) respectively, a socket and spigot type corbel box (2) that can be transversely inserted into the embedded iron box, and four lower anchoring parts (32) which are installed at theouter end of the socket and spigot type bracket box, penetrate through the socket and spigot type bracket box and the embedded iron box and are connected with the lower connectors. The invention provides novel supporting device and method for cast-in-place construction of the high-altitude bracket of the bridge superstructure, wherein the high-altitude operation duration of bracket mounting and dismounting can be shortened, the construction efficiency is improved, and the construction safety is ensured.
