The construction method comprises the following steps that S1, in a excavation process of a foundation pit, a drainage blind pipe is embedded in the side wall of the foundation pit, and a protection ceiling of the foundation pit protection device and a protection ceiling inserting block are adaptively connected. By arranging the protection ceiling and metal protection plates, fairly reliable protection can be provided for workers who construct in the foundation pit tunnel, by arranging the cross adjusting rod and the cross rotating ejector rod, the distance between the left and right metal protection plates can be adjusted, and the protection effect of the metal protection plates on the two side walls of the tunnel is ensured.
