The road barrier comprises a plurality of vertical rods, an upper cross rod and a lower cross rod, wherein a water storage cavity is formed in each vertical rod; a chassis is fixedly mounted at the bottom of each vertical rod; a plurality of micro spray heads are mounted on each chassis; the micro spray heads are communicated with the corresponding water storage cavity; a gas collection cavity communicated with the water storage cavities is formed in the upper cross rod; a pressure valve is installed at the end, close to the water storage cavities, of the gas collection cavity; the upper cross rod is fixedly connected with a gas inlet pipe through a connecting pipe; openings in the two ends of the gas inlet pipe arearranged to be gas inlets; the middle of the gas inlet pipe is communicated with the gas collection cavity through a connecting pipe; and two one-way valves are symmetrically installed in the gas inlet pipe. Rainwater can be collected in rainy days and sprayed out from the micro spray heads on the chasses in hot weather, the rainwater is sprayed on roads on the two sides of the barrier, the watering and cooling effects on the roads are achieved, the effect of rainwater collection and reasonable application is achieved, and the design concept of sponge cities in the new era is met.
