The invention discloses rail cleaning and repaving equipment, comprising a frame, wherein a main cavity is formed in the upper right side of the frame; a polishing and cleaning cavity is formed in theleft side of the main cavity; a function switching hydraulic cylinder is fixedly connected to the top wall of the upper right side of the main cavity; the lower end of the function switching hydraulic cylinder is fixedly connected with a motor; and the polishing and cleaning cavity and the main cavity are internally provided with first transmission mechanisms which use the motor as main power toenable the equipment to move. According to the invention, an auxiliary hydraulic cylinder is used for adjusting the position of polishing and cleaning wheels to control cleaning strength, so the problem that traditional cleaning is not thorough enough is solved; when gravels on rails are found to be not laid flatly enough during walking of the equipment, the gravels can be laid again through continuous fluctuation of laying hands, and the aim of reducing pollution is achieved by spraying dust-falling water mist through spray heads; and the equipment is small in size, high in cleaning degree and rich in function, the difficulty of rail cleaning is greatly relieved, and great production value is achieved.
