The invention provides a paver hopper control system, a paver and a paver hopper control method. The paver hopper control system comprises a driving mechanism, an image acquisition device and a controller all arranged on the paver; the driving end of the driving mechanism is connected with a hopper of the paver and used for driving the hopper to be unfolded or folded; the image acquisition deviceis used for acquiring image information of the hopper, a conveying mechanism and a conveying vehicle of the paver; and the controller is electrically connected with the image acquisition device and the driving mechanism so as to control the driving mechanism to work according to the image information acquired by the image acquisition device. According to the technical scheme, the hopper can be controlled to be unfolded or folded according to the image information, so that the state of the hopper is matched with the operation process of the material conveying vehicle, the operation accuracy andthe operation efficiency can be effectively improved, and the labor intensity of operators and dependence on operation experience are reduced.
