The invention discloses a magnesia carbon brick for Consteel electric furnace smelting. The magnesia carbon brick is characterized by being prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 70 to 80 parts of fused magnesite formed by mixing a granular material and a powder material, 12-18 parts of graphite with a particle size smaller than or equal to 0.1 mm, 1-2 parts of metal aluminum with a particle size smaller than or equal to 0.3 mm, 2-4 parts of metal silicon with a particle size smaller than or equal to 0.3 mm, 1-2 parts of high-temperature asphalt with a particle size smaller than or equal to 0.1 mm, 2.5-4 parts of phenolic resin and 0.9-1.3 parts of an inhibitor with a particle size smaller than or equal to 0.08 mm. The magnesia carbon brick is high in slag etching resistance, good in integrity in a continuous high-temperature state, insensitive to oxidation reaction, and capable of resisting the impact of steel and iron materials.
