The invention discloses a construction method for repairing asphalt pavement cracks by joint tapes. The construction method comprises the following steps that the interiors and the peripheries of thecracks are cleaned through an air blower or a broom; conducting manual seam pasting or mechanical seam pasting; and checking whether the joint tape is compacted or not after pasting is completed. Themethod has the advantages that the operation is easy and convenient and the joint tapes are firm after being pasted; on the road surface, the recycled joint tape can be laid and adhered only after cleaning, so that traditional heating equipment and slotting equipment for joint sealing materials are omitted, and personnel complexity is avoided; the method is short in construction period, small in influence on traffic and good in construction quality.
