The invention discloses a height limit warning system for highway traffic. The system comprises a foundation; a first stand column and a second stand column are symmetrically arranged on the left sideand the right side of the foundation correspondingly; a mounting groove and a containing groove are formed in the foundation; a pedal is slidably mounted in the mounting groove through a limiting mechanism; a plurality of reset springs are evenly arranged between the pedal and the inner bottom wall of the mounting groove; a telescopic air bag is arranged between the pedal and the inner bottom wall of the mounting groove; an elastic air bag is arranged in the containing groove; a communicating pipe is arranged between the elastic air bag and the telescopic air bag in a communicated mode. According to the system of the invention, a pull rope is used for carrying out ultrahigh detection on a running vehicle, meanwhile, the dead weight of the vehicle is used as driving force to be matched with a control mechanism; when the ultrahigh vehicle stirs the pull rope, an intercepting rod is lifted to warn and intercept the vehicle, and therefore the vehicle can be prevented from being scraped and collided with a tunnel and a bridge, the driving safety of a driver is improved, repeated use can be achieved, and practicability is high.
本发明公开了一种公路交通用限高警示系统，包括地基，所述地基左右两侧分别对称设置有第一立柱和第二立柱，所述地基上分别开设有安装槽和放置槽，所述安装槽内通过限位机构滑动安装有踏板，所述踏板与安装槽内底壁之间均匀设有多个复位弹簧，所述踏板与安装槽内底壁之间还设有伸缩气囊，所述放置槽内设有弹性气囊，所述弹性气囊与伸缩气囊之间连通设有连通管。本发明利用拉绳对行驶车辆进行超高检测，同时利用车辆的自重作为驱动力与控制机构配合，当超高车辆拌动拉绳时抬起拦截杆对车辆进行警示阻拦，从而可以防止车辆与隧道和桥梁发生刮碰撞击，进而提高司机驾驶的安全性，且可以反复使用，实用性强。
