The invention relates to a multifunctional door and window and a control method thereof. The multifunctional door and window comprises a door frame, window sashes, an LED display screen, a curtain, linkage rotating shafts, motors, a solar cell panel, a greeting lamp, a PLC controller and rotating speed signal sensors, wherein the window sashes are installed in the door frame, the LED display screen is installed at the upper end of the door frame, the curtain is installed at the bottom end of the LED display screen, one ends of the linkage rotating shafts are connected with the motors, the other ends of the linkage rotating shafts are connected with the window sashes, the solar cell panel is installed at the upper end of the LED display screen, the greeting lamp is installed in the middle of the upper end of the LED display screen, the PLC controller is arranged on the left side of the door frame, and the rotating speed signal sensors are installed at the upper end positions of the leftside of the door frame; and the motors control the linkage rotating shaft to rotate, the PLC controller sends instructions to the rotating speed signal sensors, and the rotating speed signal sensorsreceive the instructions and control the motor to work. The intelligent control method is adopted, the door and window have multiple functions, the limitation of single structure and single function in the past is broken, the requirements of modern consumers on door and window functions are effectively met, the effect is remarkable, and the economic benefit of the door and window production enterprise is effectively improved.
