The invention discloses a novel two-way curved arch bridge deck broadening and reinforcing method, which comprises the following steps of dismantling a bridge deck on an original two-way curved arch bridge, then cleaning and removing arch filler on the original two-way curved arch bridge, and dismantling an arch side wall on the original two-way curved arch bridge, planting steel bars between archwaves and arch ribs of an original two-way curved arch bridge, arranging newly-built reinforced concrete arch upper side walls on the two sides of the top face of the original two-way curved arch bridge respectively, and meanwhile when the newly-built reinforced concrete arch upper side walls are constructed, arranging pre-buried overhanging profile steel on the side walls, away from the center of the original two-way curved arch bridge, of the newly-built reinforced concrete arch upper side walls, and pouring bubble lightweight concrete into a cavity between the upper side walls of the newly-built reinforced concrete arch for filling. A large amount of repeated consumption of natural resources and equipment resources caused by demolition and reconstruction can be avoided, the bearing performance of the bridge can be remarkably improved, and meanwhile the method has the advantages of being convenient to construct, large in bridge deck broadening proportion, capable of greatly improving the arch rib bearing capacity and the like.
