The invention relates to the technical field of building engineering, in particular to an ecological slope protection system based on building engineering. The ecological slope protection system comprises an ecological slope protection module. The ecological slope protection module comprises a honeycomb-shaped structure formed by splicing a plurality of ecological frame bodies which are formed bya plurality of regular hexagonal prism thin-wall bodies. Second guiding holes are formed in the shoulder portions and waist portions of the ecological frame bodies and are internally provided with fasteners used for integrally fixing adjacent ecological frame bodies. The fasteners comprise positioning pieces and fastening pieces. The fastening pieces are provided with third guiding holes used forsequential communication between the second guiding holes and clamping buckle grooves. Blocking nets are arranged in the ecological bodies and are located above the fasteners. A honeycomb structure isadopted by the ecological slope protection system, so that the planting area is large. Holes are formed in the shoulder and waist portions of a planting groove, so that the keeping of moisture in theecological bodies is facilitated, excess water flows vertically downwards through the guiding holes, nutrition exchange of an ecological frame combination unit is facilitated, and the ecological frame body water storage and soil retaining capacity is high.
