The invention relates to a corrugated beam steel guardrail and a construction method thereof. The corrugated beam steel guardrail comprises a plurality of stand columns, a plurality of corrugated guardrail plates, two cables and a buffering mechanism; each corrugated guardrail plate is provided with a plurality of connecting pieces, the connecting pieces are arranged in a groove of the corrugatedguardrail plate, each connecting piece comprises two connecting strips and a first clamping plate, the two ends of each connecting strip are fixedly connected to the first clamping plate and the corrugated guardrail plate correspondingly; each cable is provided with a plurality of second clamping plates, the cable is clamped between a corresponding first clamping plate and the corresponding secondclamping plates; the buffering mechanism comprises a first buffering piece and a first connecting plate; the cross section of the first connecting plate is in an isosceles trapezoid shape and is of alarge-end opening structure, the first connecting plate is connected to the buffering end of the first buffering piece, the four corners of the first connecting plate are fixedly connected with second connecting plates respectively, the two first clamping plates located at the end of each corrugated guardrail plate are connected to different second connecting plates respectively, and the cables are connected to the first connecting plates. When the corrugated beam steel guardrail is used, the absorbing performance on impact force generated by automobile collision is relatively good.
