The invention relates to the field of roof waterproofing and discloses a roof waterproof system and installing method thereof. By means of the roof waterproof system, technical problems that an existing roof is poor in air permeability, and the roof is easy to bulge and detach are solved. The roof waterproof system comprises a concrete floor base layer and a waterproof composite layer arranged above the concrete floor base layer. The waterproof composite layer comprises a first waterproof coating, a protective layer and a surface layer. The first waterproof coating is coated on one side of theconcrete floor base layer. The protective layer and the surface layer are arranged from bottom to top on the side, deviating from the concrete floor base layer, of the first waterproof coating. Epoxywaterproof paint is selected and used as the first waterproof coating. The epoxy waterproof paint permeates into the concrete floor base layer by 3mm to 5mm. An air-permeable damp-proof layer is arranged on the side, deviating from the concrete floor base layer, of the first waterproof coating. By means of the roof waterproof system, the possibility that the roof waterproof system bulges and detaches is reduced, and the waterproof effect of the roof is improved.
