The outpatient department comprises a waiting area, a diagnosis and treatment area and a medical work area, wherein a plurality of diagnosis and treatment rooms are parallelly arranged in the diagnosis and treatment area; the porch is arranged outside each diagnosis and treatment room; the waiting room corresponding to the diagnosis and treatment room is arranged at the outer side of each porch; each waiting room comprises a waiting room outer door and a waiting room inner door; the waiting room outer door is connected to the waiting room and a passage; the waiting room inner door is connected to the waiting room and the porch; a partition device is arranged in the porch and is usedfor partitioning the porch into porch rooms corresponding to the waiting rooms one by one; each porch room is connected to the diagnosis and treatment room through the porch room inner door; an operation control system is arranged in the diagnosis and treatment room; and identity identification switch devices are arranged on the waiting room outer doors, the waiting room inner doors, the porch room inner doors and the partition devices. The outpatient department can substantially improve the work efficiency, can ensure the waiting order and the feeling of patients, and avoids the mutual influence between the patients.
