The invention discloses an electric sweeper. The electric sweeper comprises a machine body and chain wheels (4) and (17) which are arranged at the upper part and the lower part in two sides of the machine body and are meshed with a transmission chain (16); the chain wheel 17 is connected with the opposite side chain wheel through a middle shaft; motors (5), (9) and (23) of a transmission mechanism are connected with a transmission chain wheel (4), a roller brush (8) and an umbrella broom (30); a dustpan (3) in a sweeping mechanism is provided with a movable rear baffle (2); garbage transitionplates (7) which are connected in series into a row through pin shafts (6) are arranged at the edge of a bottom opening of the dustpan 3; the roller brush (8) is transversely arranged between a transition (7) and a machine body tail steering wheel (10); the dustpan (3) is hung between transmission chains through inclined pulling plates (11) and (15); the umbrella broom (30) is arranged on the right side of the sweeper; baffles (27) and (29) are arranged in front of and on the right side of the umbrella broom; and a garbage can (18) is placed at the tail of an electric tricycle for dragging the sweeper. The sweeper is applicable to sidewalks and motor vehicle lanes.
