The present invention relates to an insulating window and door frame for reducing the transfer rate of heat transmitted from an outdoor side frame and an indoor side frame to a window since an insulating block comes in contact with the window so as to support the window, and increasing heat-insulation performance since insulating frames for supporting the outdoor side frame and the indoor side frame are arranged to be spaced apart by a predetermined interval. The present invention provides the insulating window and door frame for supporting the window for blocking the inside of a building fromthe outside, the frame comprising: the indoor side frame for supporting the window from the inside of the building; the outdoor side frame for supporting the window from the outside the building; theinsulating frames interposed between the indoor side frame and the outdoor side frame, and supporting the window; and the insulating block disposed at the side surface of the insulating frame so as to support the window, wherein an insulating frame stopping groove for coupling with the insulating frame is formed at the upper end of the indoor side frame in the longitudinal direction of the indoorside frame, an insulating frame coupling protrusion coupled to the insulating frame stopping groove is formed at the lower end of the insulating frame, the insulating frame coupling protrusion is formed such that the end portion thereof is bent in one direction so as to be coupled to the insulating frame stopping groove in only one direction, and the plurality of insulating frames are arranged tobe spaced from each other in the longitudinal direction of the indoor side frame.
