The invention relates to the technical field of asphalt concrete preparation, and discloses asphalt concrete, which comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 14%-20% of modified asphalt, 5%-13% of cement, 60%-70% of aggregate, 5%-6% of thermosetting plastic and 3%-5% of crushed asbestos cloth. The modified asphalt comprises matrix asphalt and a modifier, and the modifier is an SBSmodifier; the aggregate comprises any one or more of mineral powder, granite, quartzite, basalt and building aggregate; and the thermosetting plastic is selected from diallyl phthalate. According to the invention, the purpose of enhancing the cohesiveness can be achieved, and the crushed asbestos cloth is added into the asphalt concrete, so that the cohesiveness of the asphalt concrete is enhanced, and the asphalt concrete pavement can be more effectively prevented from splitting.
