The invention relates to a fabricated wall plate mounting structure and mounting method. The structure comprises a bottom plate, inserting grooves, a panel and inserting plates. A mounting groove is formed at one end of each inserting plate, and a sinking groove is formed at one end of the panel and communicates with the mounting grooves. A connecting device is mounted in the mounting grooves andcomprises a fixed block and a screw. A drive block is in threaded connection to the screw, sliding grooves are formed in the two sides of the mounting grooves correspondingly, a limiting block is in sliding connection in each sliding groove, a cooperation assembly used for driving the limiting blocks to move is arranged between the drive blocks and the limiting blocks, a reset assembly used for resetting the limiting blocks is mounted on the side walls of the mounting grooves, and a guide assembly used for guiding the drive blocks is mounted at the ends, away from the sinking groove, of the mounting grooves. First strip-shaped holes are formed in the two sides of the inserting grooves, and the two limiting blocks can protrude out of the sides, away from the inserting grooves, of the two first strip-shaped holes correspondingly. According to the structure, the inserting plates can be dismounted conveniently, and therefore a wall plate can be replaced conveniently.
