The invention discloses a resin tile and a preparation method thereof. The resin tile comprises a colored resin layer; a first thin film functional layer bonded to the color resin layer; a solar cellmodule jointed with one surface, far away from the color resin layer, of the first thin film functional layer; a second thin film functional layer, combined with one surface, far away from the first thin film functional layer, of the solar cell module; and a first resin layer, combined with one surface, far away from the second thin film functional layer, of the second thin film functional layer.Compared with a traditional ceramic tile, the resin tile is light in weight, resistant to corrosion and impact and capable of being designed into various colors, and the requirement of different customers for product diversity is met.
