The invention relates to the technical field of thermal insulation materials. The invention further discloses a novel fire-resistant thermal insulation material. The material comprises, by mass, 5-10%of fructose, 2-5% of sodium gluconate, 12-20% of phenyl silicone rubber, 10-20% of corn starch, 2-5% of a setting agent, 1-4.5% of nano silicon dioxide, 1-2% of a catalyst and 1-3% of a plant antibacterial agent, with the balance being water, wherein the plant antibacterial agent is a calendula officinalis extract; the catalyst is titanium dioxide, the silicon dioxide has a nanoscale size of 5 to10 nm; the setting agent is a sodium hydroxide solution with the concentration of 45%. The material can replace existing thermal insulation materials such as rubber and plastic thermal insulation materials and polyurethane thermal insulation materials, and is free of volatilization of pollutants such as formaldehyde and benzene; a volatile matter is carbon dioxide; the material can be used for wall heat preservation and pipeline heat preservation, has antibacterial performance and small-size heat insulation performance, is solid, cannot be combusted at the temperature of 280 DEG C and is goodin heat insulation and fire resistance, the temperature of a plate with the thickness of 10 mm does not change within 10 min on the other side in the alcohol heating state, and a good heat insulationeffect is achieved.
