The invention provides an automatic bridge reinforcing structure after bridge overload. The structure comprises a bridge, piers, pier bases and steel cables. A reinforcing pipe is welded at the bottomof the bridge; reinforcing ribs are embedded in the piers; the other end of an inhaul cable penetrates through the piers and is fixedly connected with the steel cables; a shear knife is welded at thebottom of the piers; a balance weight cavity is formed in the middle of the inner portion of each pier base; and a balancing weight is supported in the balancing weight cavity, a shearing cavity is formed in the side surface of the balancing weight cavity, a supporting rod is fixedly connected to the inner side surface of the shearing cavity, an inserting ball is fixedly connected to the other end of the supporting rod, the inserting ball is connected with the side surface of the balancing weight in an inserted mode, and an elastic layer is arranged at a joint of each pier and each pier base.Due to matched arrangement of the shear knife and the supporting rods, when the bridge is in an overload state, the balancing weight can pull the steel cables to be straighter, the bridge is furtherreinforced, the steel cables can drive the reinforcing ribs to sink instantly through the inhaul cables, connection between the reinforcing ribs is reinforced, a bearing capacity of the bridge piers is improved, and the bridge piers are prevented from being broken.
