The soil compaction equipment comprises a supporting plate, wherein a lifting column is fixedly arranged on oneside of the top end of the supporting plate, a cavity is formed in the lifting column, a driving motor is fixedly arranged on one side of the lifting column, a transmission shaft of the driving motorpenetrates through the lifting column and is fixedly provided with an incomplete gear, a sliding groove is formed in one side of the lifting column, an L-shaped supporting rod is connected into the sliding groove in a sliding mode, and a rack meshed with the incomplete gear is fixedly arranged at one end of the L-shaped supporting rod. The soil compaction equipment has the beneficial effects thatthe arranged driving motor is used for driving the incomplete gear to rotate, when gear teeth of the incomplete gear rotate to be meshed with the rack, the rack is driven to move upwards and a pressing plate moves upwards, when the incomplete gear rotates to the side without the gear teeth, the pressing plate is driven to descend under the gravity action of the pressing plate and the reset actionof the connecting spring, so that soil is tamped repeatedly, and the compaction effect is improved.
