Provided is a power receiving/supplying device provided with: a connector that is to be connected to a power receiving/supplying port of an electric vehicle; a connector moving part for moving the connector laterally and vertically; a position information acquisition unit for acquiring position information indicating the position of the electric vehicle; a vehicle information acquisition unit foracquiring vehicle information of the electric vehicle; and a position determination unit that determines the position of the power receiving/supplying port of the electric vehicle on the basis of theposition information and the vehicle information, wherein the connector is connected to the power receiving/supplying port by having the connector moving part to move the connector laterally at a position higher than a preset position and then move the connector vertically so as to position the connector to the position of the power receiving/supplying port.
